Ramblings

I have been baking since 10:30 last night. We are having a chicken dinner on Friday and I was asked to bake four cakes to pack in the dinners. So far, I have baked three, one is cut up and bagged, two are cooling and I have a fourth in the oven. My house smells WONDERFUL! I think that I may bake a cake for us to eat too! I haven't really made up my mind though.

I have been trying to think of somethings that I thought might be helpful, but at this time, my mind is blank...

Saturday morning the youth director at our church is having a yard sale and she told me that I could put some of my stuff in it! I can't help her because it is Sydney's graduation from pre-school but she told me to bring it anyway. That evening she is going to keep the kids for us so we can go to a couples dinner at our friend's house from church. I am excited!

Spring Cleaning

So, I have been on this cleaning kick all week and I am almost done! Hooray!! I have taken so much stuff off, it isn't funny!

This one is short and sweet tonight, I still have work to do and kids to put to bed.

Litter Clean-up Made Easy

I LOVE the new litter system from Tidy Cats!! It is so easy to take care of. I have had three other litter boxes/systems prior to this and I would have to say this is the best. The solids stay on top in the box and the liquid goes down into a tray with an odor absorbing mat that you change out once a week. This makes cleaning the litter box SOOO much easier. Not to mention the fact that there is no litter to be tracked every where and it controls the odors better that regular litter.

I think everyone who has a cat should get this system!!!!

Sleepy Time

I am sleepy! I am trying to get the kids to go to sleep so I can nap too. I can't let them stay up without me anymore since Sydney cut her hair and TJ likes to crush chips or what not into the rug as well as spill water in the floor.

I hope they sleep and soon!

Short & Sweet

Life has been busy around here lately. We've had school meetings, pageant meetings, brotherhood meetings and on and on and on. Tomorrow is the Awana Grand Prix and that is supposed to last all afternoon and into the evening. Hopefully I can get some things done around the house by then.

Wednesday's Happenings

I feel back asleep this morning after everyone left! I slept for a little while then watched TV. Very uneventful this morning.

I talked to my mom today. She got out of the hospital yesterday and the kids and I are going to see her tomorrow. They still don't know what happened, just that her blood pressure was up and so was her cholesterol. Other than that, we don't know what could have caused the numbness in her arm, leg and face.

I have been cleaning my bathroom this afternoon. It was in dire need of it too! I am almost through, but my tub is clogged up and I can't find the drain cleaner. Bummer...
